The Florida Alliance of Home Care Services is the State Association for Home Medical Equipment Providers and Providers of Diabetic and Consumable Medical Supplies.

FAHCS’ motto is “Providing Assistance, Demanding Quality, Changing Minds”, which captures where our industry is today. Providers assist patients, but Providers also require

assistance through information, education and government advocacy, which we provide.

FAHCS’ goal is to improve the industry for patients and businesses by offering a forum for educational opportunities, advocating on behalf of homecare community and providing those businesses who service patients in their homes a united voice to State and Federal groups that regulate the industry.

This industry provides an indispensible service to its patients through quality products and professional service. This benefit to patients must be protected and can only be done by ensuring that legitimate businesses are properly compensated for their service.

Finally, one cannot turn a blind eye to the fact that our industry has been tainted by fraudulent activity. FAHCS is working with providers and government, taking the offensive against fraudulent practices and working to eliminate it from our industry.
